I’m Jemma, a family photographer based in Coventry, working across Warwickshire and the surrounding areas.
I photograph families who want something calm and natural. No pressure to perform, no forced smiles, and no rushing through moments. Just space to be yourselves, so your photos feel honest and full of feeling.
My work is about capturing the in between moments. The connection, the quiet cuddles, the laughter that happens when nobody is trying too hard. The kind of images that feel like memories when you look back on them years from now.
If the idea of a photoshoot feels a little overwhelming, you’re not alone. Many of the families I work with worry about their children behaving or about feeling awkward in front of the camera.
My sessions are slow and relaxed, guided gently but never forced. There’s no expectation for children to sit still or smile on cue. Some of my favourite photographs come from the moments in between, and that’s exactly what I leave space for.
